What is the principle of roots blower?
Roots blower is a volumetric rotary blower, a rotary compressor that compresses and delivers gas by means of two vane rotors moving relative to each other in the cylinder. The compressor relies on a synchronous gear on the rotor shaft to keep the rotors engaged. Each concave curved part of the rotor and the inner wall of the cylinder constitute the working volume. During the rotor rotation, the gas is taken away from the intake port. When it is moved to the nearby exhaust port and connected to the exhaust port, the pressure in the working volume is suddenly increased due to the reflux of the gas with higher pressure, and then the gas is transported to the exhaust channel. The two rotors work in turn. The two rotors are not in contact with each other, and they are sealed by tightly controlled clearance, so the discharged gas is not polluted by lubricating oil.
Roots blower structure
Due to periodic suction, exhaust and instantaneous constant volume of compressed air velocity and pressure pulsation, and can produce large aerodynamic noise. In addition, between the rotor and clearance between rotor and cylinder can cause gas leakage, thus reduce the efficiency. Roots blower displacement of 0.15 ~ 235 m3 / min, speed is 450 ~ 1750 RPM.
Roots blower features and others
Characteristics: its biggest characteristic is that when the pressure in the allowable range to adjust the flow change is very small, the pressure selection range is very wide, with the characteristics of forced gas transmission. The medium does not contain oil. Simple structure, easy maintenance, long service life, small vibration.
Medium: roots blower transport medium for clean air, clean and kerosene, sulfur dioxide and other inert gas, given with the above characteristics, and thus can be widely used to metallurgy, chemical industry, fertilizer industry, petrochemical industry, instruments, building materials.
